Heating to the building is provided by the district heating substation (individual heating plant). A radiator/ convector heating system serves most parts of the buildings, including reception/lobby, public areas, offices, plant rooms and stairs. Underground car parking is served by radiators, equipped with two-way regulating valves controlled by thermostat.
The building has fresh air supply and extract by means of central air handling plants designed to meet the local weather conditions. The central air handling plants are distributed throughout the building on the basement, top level and roof.
These air handling units heat, cool, filter and humidify the air as appropriate to the space being served. Frost protection is provided. The systems supply fresh air with supplementary cooling provided by tenant fit-out.
The cooling in tenancies is provided by two-pipe fan coil units. The building has its own cooling plant with air cooled chillers on the roof and corresponding equipment in the technical area on the top level. A free cooling system is installed that allows saving energy for air conditioning during the cold period of the year.
